(BOWEN) Just like last year’s deletion of any news about General Xu Caihou, the People’s Liberation Army General Political Department issued an order that all army and government information related to General Guo Boxiong be deleted. That includes his legacy, public calligraphy, documents and memos. Guo has been detained and accused of accepting bribes and using his influence to get promotions for others.

Bowen News Agency’s Beijing source revealed that a document was received from the General Office of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China: the PLA General Political Department requires that all administrative units of the Communist Party and government, branches of the PLA, military regions and local reserve forces carry out a purge immediately. In the past decade anything related to General Guo Boxiong that’s been saved, archived or sealed must be cleaned up. His speeches, transcripts, audio, and videotapes all must be destroyed except for a single original copy retained by the work unit.

Remove all published references to Guo Boxiong’s speeches. Remove Guo’s photograph from all books and other publications. Remove all public calligraphy by Guo. Use the same censorship method as was used to get rid of General Xu Caihou’s legacy last year.
