Boxun reported on Tuesday August 4, 2015 that Old Wood’s (aka Liu Yongping) younger brother phoned a friend saying that Liu Yongping’s arrest notice had been sent to the Fengcheng City, Jiangxi Province police station. He’s being held in the Tianjin Public Security Bureau on the criminal charge of “picking quarrels and provoking troubles.”

Liu Yongping’s family lives more than 200 kilometers from Fengcheng. They haven’t received the arrest notice yet.

Liu Yongping, male, Christian, Pingxiang County, Jiangxi Province native, 52 years old, works in Beijing. At noon on July 10, 2015 he was taken into custody from his home by an unidentified Beijing plainclothes police officer. At the same time his house was searched and his computer, mobile phone, and some books were seized. He hasn’t been seen since. The same day Liu Yongping went missing so did Christian activist Hu Shigen.
