(BOXUN) On Tuesday, June 30, 2015, the China State Internet Information Office issued a “Management notice on further strengthening online coverage of juvenile delinquency and bullying of minors.”

The notice says website editors should use major news media reports when covering incidents of school bullying. If it’s necessary to use other sources, they should be carefully scrutinized.

The Internet Office also said that online reports involving minors shouldn’t depict violence, gore, sex, horror, or videos and pictures involving minors that haven’t been dealt with by the law.

It said violations of this edict might create serious adverse effects on work units and individuals, and will result in questioning, warning, fining and other measures including revocation of websites’ permission to provide news and information services.
