Bailiffs beat and detain lawyers for Falun Gong clients

Attorney Wang Yu reported the following: I just received a telephone call from a concerned party in Liaocheng City, Shandong Province. He said that starting at 9 a.m. today (Thursday June 18, 2015), attorneys Wang Quanzhang, Chen Zhiyong, and Shi Fulong attended a court hearing in East Changfu District, Liaocheng City, Shandong Province. Wang Quanzhang was attacked by numerous bailiffs and received a serious head laceration. Then the three lawyers were taken into detention in the court.

It’s understood that attorneys Wang Quanzhang, Chen Zhiyong, and Shi Fulong were in court on a Falun Gong devotee case. Because they insisted on legal procedures they were beaten by many bailiffs and then they couldn’t be contacted.
