Boxun’s correspondent learned that Hengyang City, Hunan Province democracy activist Zhao Fengsheng, sentenced to four years in prison for the crime of “inciting subversion of state power,” on Wednesday May 27, 2015 met with his family for the first time. Zhao Fengsheng has already been moved from the Hengyang County Detention Center to Changsha Prison. It’s possible that in the future he’ll be transferred to another prison to serve his sentence.

Accompanying Zhao Fengsheng’s wife and attorney was Hunan citizen “Zhouzhou Zhuzuo.” He issued this statement: “Today I accompanied Zhao Fengsheng’s wife and came to Changsha Prison to meet Fengsheng. His spirit and conditions are fine, the circumstances are better here than in Hengyang County Detention Center. This is a temporary destination, we don’t know where he’ll be transferred to next! After being sentenced to four years in prison for the crime of “inciting subversion of state power,” on Tuesday May 5, 2015 Fengsheng was transferred from Hengyang County Detention Center to Changsha Prison. Once the prison processes his bank card, Fengsheng can receive donations to contribute to his living expenses!”
