(Boxun News Report, Beijing, Friday May 29, 2015) On the eve of the 26th anniversary of the June 4, 1989 Tiananmen Square Massacre, Beijing artists have launched a “point-to-point” anonymous protest activity. Eastern Beijing Songzhuang Village artists return to the Chaobai River. According to the protest plan, the artists will separately go to the banks of the nearby Chaobai River, take photographs of 10 mu per person (approximately 1.5 acres), collect all the photos and publish them. There won’t be a “flash mob,” but they will still “occupy” the Chaobai River.

The protest organizers’ concept is that in future they will use anonymous methods to occupy the river, and “assemble” anonymously. This expresses the idea of individualism, and continues to promote the concrete method of protest.
