Thousands protest to recover investment funds

Since 2014, Luoyang, Henan Province has seen many securities companies fail. ¥10 billion in capital has been lost, affecting tens of thousands of citizens. As a result, failed investors have staged numerous protests.

On the morning of Saturday March 7, 2015, thousands of frustrated investors again went to Imperial City Square in Luoyang carrying banners reading: “Give me my blood and sweat-earned money,” shouted slogans to protest government inaction and demanded that government use its authority to pursue the return of investment funds. A large number of police arrived and stood guard, but no conflict occurred.
