Hundreds of Chinese Hui Muslims protest in Tai’an City, Shandong Province and surround the Public Security Bureau

Xiawang Village, Daiyue District, Tai’an City, Shandong Province: Hired thugs from organized crime gangs have been carrying out forced demolitions. On Tuesday, Dec. 9, 2014, hundreds of villagers carried protest banners, including one vowing to “Fight to the death organized criminal boss Yang Ronghe,” as they walked along Yandongyue Road and surrounded the Tai’an Public Security Bureau.

Xiawang Village is situated southeast of the Zhoudian Neighborhood Committee office in Daiyue District, Tai’an City, Shandong Province. The village has only 900 households, more than 4,000 people altogether. It’s the largest Hui Muslim minority village in the city.
