Weifang City, Shangdong Province: The Intermediate People’s Court on July 28, 2014 issued a death sentence for a man named Ding Hanzhong.  On Tuesday, Nov. 25, 2013, more than 20 hired thugs began forcibly demolishing Ding Hanzhong’s house. They beat his son and dragged him away. They took Ding Hanzhong into the courtyard and used shovels, spades, and other equipment to beat him while shouting, “Persecuting you to death is easy!” Ding Hanzhong  grabbed a sickle and swung it at his attackers. He swung it until the sickle head broke off and he only had the handle in his hand. Of those who surrounded and beat him, two were seriously injured and died from their wounds.
