Apartment owners, residents protest garbage-plant odors

Pingshan New District, Huizhou City, Shenzhen,  Guangdong Province: Hundreds of people from the Longguang residential area demonstrated on Sunday, November 2, 2014, against terrible odors from a garbage processing plant. Wearing t-shirts reading, “The Pingshan Environmental Area Stinks,” they marched to Pingshan New District to protest long-term pollution in the Huizhou-Shenzhen boundary area. Many police were present to keep order.
