(China News Service) Daye City, Lingxiang Township, Hubei Province: One month ago, Wu Yongdang’s house was demolished after he, his brother and their 80-year-old mother were kidnapped and held in a remote mountain location. The culprits still haven’t been identified.

Wu Yongdang, 50, said that in the early morning of September 11, strangers carrying clubs forced open his door and rushed in. They kidnapped his mother, his younger brother and him, and took them to the mountains.

They wouldn’t let his family put on coats or take cell phones. They shivered in the cold and his elderly mother suffered, Wu Yongdang said.

After an hour, the kidnappers received a phone call and left, throwing Wu Yongdang ¥1000. It was still dark and they had no car or cell phones. The mother and two sons took more than an hour climbing down the mountain.

When the three returned home they found that their two-story house was in ruins. They went to Lingxiang Township to file a complaint, but more than a month later there still are no suspects.

“Our furniture and belongings were all destroyed in the rubble, nothing could be reclaimed. We have been homeless for more than a month and still have no idea who demolished our home,” Wu Yongdang said. (Boxun Translation)
