Communal Financial Fund Collapses, Thousands Protest and Demand Protection of Rights

Handan City, Hebei Province communal financial fund collapses, involving more than 30 family enterprises, more than ¥10 billion in capital lost.

On Wednesday October 8, 2014, Golden Century, Tall Mountain Peak, Beautiful Green Source, Silver Letter and the proprietors of thousands of other family enterprises and investors gathered at the Handan Communist Party Committee headquarters to demand their rights, demand the government personally punish the cheating enterprise. Traffic was obstructed in front of the Party Committee headquarters. Many police guarded the compound, no conflict ensued.

On August 25, 2014 more than 1000 enterprise proprietors and investors went to Handan Communist Party Committee headquarters to protest and were beaten and arrested by police.
