Hu Ning arrested, accused of reporting in Guilin

On September 10, 2014 Boxun News published “Guilin petitioner Li Yuzhuo protests Central Organization Department Minister Zhao Leji’s younger brother forcibly seizes residence (video).” After this report was issued the police took revenge. At noon on Tuesday September 30, 2014 Li Yuzhuo was arrested and taken to the Xiufeng branch office of the Guilin Public Security Bureau. In an incident also believed related, at 11 p.m. on Monday September 29, 2014 Hu Ning was also detained by five people and brought to the Bailong local police station in Xiufeng District, Guilin.

At 2:30 a.m. on Wednesday October 1, 2014 Li Yuzhuo was released, and at approximately 6 p.m. on Tuesday September 30, 2014 HU Ning was sent to the Guilin Number Two Detention Center.

The police told Li Yuzhuo that the reason they were arrested was the article involving Minister Zhao Leji and his brother Zhao Leqin. Li Yuzhuo said that the details of the case were correct.

The police are threatened to charge Hu Ning with the crime of subverting state power.

After detained for five days, Hu Ning was relesed.
