Chongqing, one of the biggest cities in China will face a big problem today: All police starts to strike.

On March 16 (Beijing time), official news outlets reported that City of Chongqing announced that all police officers will be fired. The city will appoint new officers by going through a selecting process. Those fired can re-apply for the position.

This is the biggest decision in police system in China.

An exclusive source in Beijing told Boxun on the night of March 16, police starts to strike to resist this decision.

One researcher from Beijing is shocked by this news. “Bo Xilai is doing the right thing on this” he said to Boxun, “Police is so corrupted, if Bo can build a police system that does not have corruption, I will support him”.
