72-year-old lady gleans scraps to support her mother

This 72-year-old lady, named Sun Faju (See picture above), has to glean scraps to support her 95-year-old mother who currently live in Jinan, capital of Shandong Province. According to China’s law and regulations, they are not residents of Jinan City because they moved there years ago without any officially accepted certificates or identifications. This means they are still residents of Anhui Province, their hometown. As a result, they are not entitled to any pension from where they are living now. Incomprehensible? It is the case in China!
