US Officals paid a visit to Mao

On November 17th, several luxcious cars went through Tiananmen Square. and arrived at Chairman Mao’s Memorial.

Boxun’s reporter was at the scene seeing three fellow American officiers of president Obama, accompanied by high-ranking Chinese millitary officers, arrived at the Chairman Mao’s Memorial Hall to vis Mao’s body.
During thier tour at the Memorial Hall, tourists were blocked from a distance.

Affected by propaganda, many Chinese still pay huge respect to Mao and view him as a great leader for establishing People’s Republic of China in 1949. However, Mao was condemned for millions of deaths in China during his rule.

American officials’ visit raise controversy and even might stain the team’s tour in China as some Chinese feel offenced by this incident.
