Everyone knows the face of Caijing, talented reporter and editor Hu Shuli. But the real power behind the throne is the son of former NPC vice-chairman Wang Bingqian, Wang Boming. As a result of both Wang Boming’s and Politburo member Wang Qishan’s support, Hu Shuli and Caijing have been able to play an important watchdog role over the large public listings of Chinese business groups.
