Boxun reports on this fascinating online collaboration between an “Online Police Officer” and a “Hacker” in shutting down the government’s Peoples Supervisory Net website.

Beginning August 25, 2009, the Peoples Supervisory Net has been attacked by a hacker employed by a corrupt official. The method used is a denial of service attack brought on by a massive overloading of spam rendering the Peoples Supervisory website unusable. This has required the Peoples Supervisory net to take unprecedented and expensive preventative measures, installing a 40 gigabyte hardware firewall and put their server on a fiber optic network.

But on Thursday September 3 the corrupt deputy mayor bribed a corrupt employee of the network and was again able to overcome the security of the site and shut it down again.
