Boxun reports that as the October 1 60th anniversary of the founding of the PRC fast approaches, people are pointing out that too many of the actors in the epic film “The Founding of a Republic”–produced for the occasion–are not Chinese citizens. It has been pointed out that this nationalistic epic film features no fewer than 21 non-Chinese citizens! No wonder people are questioning the nationalistic credentials of these Chinese actors who have acquired foreign citizenship.

And these actors are not blonde-haired, blue-eyed foreigners. These are Chinese-born actors who, after becoming famous, acquired foreign citizenship.
