Sichuan Environmentalist, Earthquake Critic Tan Zuoren Indicted For Subversion of State Power

Sichuan environmentalist Tan Zuoren, renowned for leading protests in April 2008 against a big chemical plant to be built in Pengzhou, north of Chengdu and later for collecting information on the number of children killed in the May 2008 Sichuan earthquake, has been indicted by the Chengdu, Sichuan Prosecutor for the crime of subversion of state power.
