Chief Editor of Baixing Magazine is ordered to leave

On December 31, 2006,  Chief Editor of Baixing Magazine – Mr. Liangtian Huang – was ordered to leave.

Mr. Huang was told that it is a normal rotation. He is ordered to work for another magazine that he does not like.

Baixing Magazine has been very active in reporting unfairness incidents in rural area. The magazine was warned a few times because of its brave reporting.

A new editor was placed by the government, therefore it is believed that Baixing Magazine will not be the same as before.
