Chinese Communist Party spy Zeng Dajun flees the U.S. for China

[Bowen Press Exclusive] According to informed sources, a spy for the Chinese Communist Party who was investigated and monitored by US law enforcement agencies has fled the U.S. It’s assumed that Chinese authorities helped him return to China through Mexico.

Zeng Dajun was wearing an electronic monitor, but managed to escape to China through informal channels.

Zeng Dajun, the eldest son of Zeng Dun, is a native of Shaoyang City in Hunan Province. He was born on October 19, 1947 in Wuhan, the capital of Hubei Province. In 1966 he began studying in the People’s Liberation Army Art Academy. He joined a rebellion during the Cultural Revolution. He was protected by Senior General Wang Shusheng (Zeng Dun’s close friend) and avoided attack. He entered the Tibet Military Region and became a low-ranking officer. In 1983 he left the military and joined the newly established Ministry of State Security Hubei office. His non-official cover was as a cadre in the China Travel Agency (a front organization for the State Security apparatus). He was trained in English in Wuhan University. In 1990 he surreptitiously moved to the U.S.

Zeng Dajun entered the overseas Chinese democracy movement and undermined the movement many times. His actions led to many being arrested in China, such as China Social Democratic Party member Wang Xiaoning. Former China Youth Daily reporter Dong Wei was recruited by Taiwan’s Military Intelligence Third Bureau. His agent Tan Guangguang was sentenced to ten years in prison. The following year Tan Guangguang was released on medical bail, then another spy Wu Jianming was arrested in Beijing and expelled from China. It’s believed that a high-ranking CCP agent in Taiwan’s Military Intelligence Bureau compelled Dong Wei to enter China in 2003, after which Dong Wei and Zeng Dajun were immediately arrested and sentenced to 10 years in prison. But Zeng Dajun emerged unscathed and after half a year he returned to the U.S.

On September 13, 2005 Hunan Province’s Shaodong Television reported that while Zeng Dajun served in senior positions in China’s Social Democratic Party, he openly returned to the mainland. His identity at the time was as a member of the pro-Communist National Association for China’s Peaceful Reunification.

Zeng Dajun maintained close relationships with officials of the Chinese Consulate General in New York, and the PRC’s UN Mission offical Zeng Shaohua. His mission was to befriend visiting Chinese scholars and monitor cultural events in New York.

It’s also thought that Zeng Dajun fabricated rumors and sowed discord in the China Social Democratic Party, seeking to split the party. The split between the east and west branches of the party was caused by Zeng.

Zeng Dajun entered the China Social Democratic Party in 2000, and in 2013 became the Democratic Party chairman. In October 2014, the China Social Democratic Party Fujian Province committee held its preparatory meeting at New York Chinatown’s “Shanghai Lao Zhengxing” restaurant. Zeng Dajun spoke at the event as the central committee chairman. This news was reported by the pro-Communist Phoenix Network.
