Former Central Military Commission Vice Chairman Guo Boxiong and his wife arrested, who’s next?

On Saturday April 11, 2015, Boxun exclusively revealed that former Central Military Commission Vice Chairman Guo Boxiong and his wife were arrested in their home in Beijing on Friday, April 10, 2015. The arrest was executed by the Central Guard Unit (Unit 8341, the chief military bureau responsible for the security of senior Chinese government, Communist Party and military leaders).

Boxun also reported that Jiangsu Provincial Communist Party Secretary Luo Zhijun may be involved in serious corruption and will soon be subjected to shuanggui, a form of criminal investigation by the Communist Party that is outside of the country’s normal legal system). Luo Zhijun’s corruption case is connected to present PRC Vice President Li Yuanchao. If Luo Zhijun is purged, Li Yuanchao may also be implicated.
