American independence day on the day of the new developments in suburban Chicago, shooting, according to agence france-presse reported that the police said that the perpetrators kerry mo iii in Highland Park, Illinois (Highland Park) National Day parade after the murder scene, fled to the state of Wisconsin Madison, Madison, wanted to commit another attack in the local National Day activities. “He seriously considered committing another shooting with the gun he had in his car,” police spokesman Christopher Covelli said.

The prosecutor Ben Dillon said Cremo III confessed to the Highland Park shooting in his bail court. During the National Day parade on Sunday, King Kerimo III opened fire from the roof of a business, killing seven people and injuring more than 30 others.

Judge Theodore Potkonjak ordered Klimousan, who is charged with seven counts of first-degree murder, to be held without bail and appear in a preliminary hearing July 28.

Dressed in a black shirt, Crimo III appeared via video link in bail court and listened impassively as prosecutors recounted details of the shooting. When the judge asked him if he had a lawyer, he said no, and a public defender was assigned to him.

Mr. Dillon said Mr. Cremo iii had “provided a voluntary statement acknowledging his actions.” Cremo III fired three 30-round magazines at the crowd with his rifle, fled, dumped the weapon in an alley, and drove to Madison with another gun in his car.

Mr. Kovelli said Mr. Klimousan considered launching an attack at another local celebration, but “there are indications that his planning was not sophisticated enough to carry out another attack.” Cremo III then returned to the Chicago area and was arrested after a brief car chase, about eight hours after the attack.

Questions have been raised about how Klimoussan, who has a history of mental health problems and threatening behaviour, was able to legally purchase at least five guns. Police were called to Cremo’s home twice in 2019, once in April to investigate an attempted suicide and again in September, when a relative said cremo threatened to “kill everyone in the family.”

The police said there was no basis to deny Klimo III’s application for his first license in December 2019, sponsored by his father, when he was 19 at the time. No formal complaint had been filed against him. Cremo III later bought several guns.

The Fourth of July shooting in Highland Park is the latest in a spate of gun violence in the United States. According to the Gun Violence Archive, a non-profit research group, about 40,000 people are killed by guns in the US each year.
