At 17:43 on December 30, 2019, the wechat group of “Wuhan University Clinical Grade 04”, li Wenliang’s college classmates, forwarded and posted several messages. One was two paragraphs: “7 cases of SARS have been confirmed in the Fruit and seafood market in South China” and “Isolated in the emergency Department of Houhu Hospital”. At 1:30 am on December 31, Li wenliang was called to the Wuhan Municipal Health Commission by the hospital’s leaders to inquire about the situation. After dawn went to work, he was interviewed by the supervision department of the hospital. After that, he wrote a paper entitled “Reflection and Self-criticism of False News spread” as required. Li wenliang said he forwarded the message after seeing it, to remind other students in the group to take precautions. The hospital announced his death on the early morning of February 7.
