Police officer slaps a teacher for accidentally scratching son

A video clip circulated on the internet recently shows a policeman slapping a woman after she broke up a dispute between his son and classmates.  Yongjia County Police Department later released an announcement saying the last name of the policeman in the video clip is Lee. He serves in the Brigade Team of Yongjia County Police Department.

On the 26^th of October, Lee’s son was arguing with classmates.  The woman who supervised the class, Zheng, unintentionally scratched the boy’s forehead while reprimanding the students. Lee slapped Zheng right after he found out.

The county sentenced Lee to administrative detention of 6 days, imposed a fine on him and gave him administrative demerits.
