(BOXUN) On Sunday September 6, 2015, Sichuan News Network reported that 200 fifth grade students in the Bazhong Municipality Bazhou District Number Seven Primary School arrived at school only to find no classrooms. They had to wait on the sportsground glancing through their new schoolbooks. A student’s parent reported that this was because the classroom building was rented out as a hotel.

The school’s spokesperson said that a few years ago the school signed a contract with a hotel to rent out the classroom building. The school originally occupied 600 square meters of space, it’s been rented out for 15 years. As for the details, the spokesperson was not very clear.

Uncle Yang’s granddaughter attended Number Seven Middle School from first to fourth grade. But when she got to school at dawn today, she discovered there was no classroom building. The school also didn’t send a leader to explain the situation, and he didn’t konw which classroom his granddaughter was going to be studying in.

Miss Zhang’s child is also in the fifth grade in Number Seven Primary School. Her child enrolled at the end of August, but the school didn’t arrange a classroom and doesn’t know how the situation will conclude.
