Students demonstrate, vandalize school and take down national flag

Zhoukou City, Henan Province nursing school authorities unilaterally cancelled a specialty class track and refused to refund tuition fees of ¥6000. On the the evening of Tuesday March 17, 2015 hundreds of students launched a class boycott.

The demonstrating students have set off fireworks on the school campus, torn up and burned many books, and vandalized classroom buildings, the headmaster’s office and part of the playground. They also took down the school’s national flag.

On Wednesday March 18, 2015, the students continued to congregate on campus and display banners reading: “Give me back my dream, give me back my youth.” That afternoon they went to congregate and rally at Zhoukou City Hall.   (BOXUN reported and translated into English)
