Police snatch corpse from family protesting forced-demolition death

Fuyang City, Yingshang County, Jiangkou Township, Anhui Province: On Monday, March 9, 2015, the government was forcibly demolishing a privately owned house when it collapsed and killed the head of the household. His relatives carried the body to the Jiangkou Township government headquarters seeking redress for the death. About 200 police officers responded, beating demonstrators and arresting at least six. Police seized the corpse and took it away.
