Disgraced official’s younger brother buys luxurious California house

Boxun has learned through investigation that Ling Wancheng (alias: Wang Cheng) has a mansion in Placer County in Northern California. The address is: 6105 Terracina Court, Loomis, California 95650. It was constructed in 2008. The house stands on 2.5 acres of property.

This house has five bedrooms, six bathrooms, and takes up 7,808 square feet. The selling price was $US2.5 million. This house was sold on September 19, 2013.

Ling Wangcheng is the younger brother of disgraced official Ling Jihua, who was demoted in September 2012 after his son crashed an extremely expensive sports car. On Saturday, Feb. 28, 2015, he was expelled from a high-level advisory body to the Chinese Communist Party. The CCP has been trying to oust corrupt officials because of public outrage over the often excessive wealth accumulated in public office.
