Policeman Promoted After Killing a Villager

On June 1st, 2012, police and other “law enforcement” joined the forces of a developer to destroy a brick factory. The police attacked the villagers who refused to leave the factory. In the attack, 67 year old Ge Jianxin was killed by the police.

The whole event was recorded on video.

In another video releasewd by Boxun, the police arrested one villager because of an argument he was having with the police itself. The same policeman, LU, who killed Ge Jianmin in 2012, showed up on the scence. He was promoted to main officer of the police station.

The video showed LU attacking Ge Jianxin and others with a long rod. A witness said that it was LU who gave the fatal hits to Ge Jianxin. No one was charged for the killing of Ge Jianxin. The latest Boxun report indicates that the policeman was promoted after he killed the villager.
