New Book “Nine Days” Published
Fred Hiatt, editorial page editor of Washington Post, published the book “Nine Days”. The book tells the story of Dr. Wang Bingzhang, a prominent Chinese dissident who was kidnapped in Vietnam in June 2002. Wang was sentenced to life in prison by the Chinese government.
On April 3rd, the book was launched at the headquarters of Freedom House, Washington DC, in the presence of Fred Hiatt and Wang’s daughter, who gave speeches for the audience.
