About 400,000 pro-democracy protesters took the streets of Hong Kong

(July 01,2012) Tens of thousands of pro-democracy protesters took to the streets of Hong Kong hours after Chinese President Hu Jintao swore in the city’s new leader and urged him to resolve what he called “deep disagreements” among the islanders.(Reuters)
The organizer said that about 400,000 showed up. This is the largest number of protesting in years in Hong Kong.
