Boxun reports that on Friday July 24 Beijing’s Land Tax Bureau is holding a public hearing on Gongmeng’s tax fine. Security is very tight for the hearing. It was originally announced as an open hearing, but has now been changed to a closed hearing. Only Xu Zhiyong, Li Xiongbing, Peng Jian will be allowed into the hearing.

The security at the entrance of the tax bureau is tight, police and plainclothes officers are in large evidence. More than 40 Gongmeng supporters are on the scene, the police are pressuring them and taking their pictures.
