temp_16072403053821On July 10th ,Guo En-Ping, a Zhejiang junior civil servant, published a blog post entitled “Hangzhou, shame on you!” which criticized Hangzhou and Zhejiang officials who approved large-scale construction projects for the G20 Summit in September. Guo was held for 10 days in administrative detention for an attack by rumor.

Guo En-Ping, born in 1971, was a university-degree deputy director of Baiyun Street office, Taizhou City and a director of convenience service. He is not a Communist Party member.

Although Guo was sent to a detention center, Xia Bao-Long, the CPC Zhejiang Provincial Party Secretary, still is angry. He demanded “the most severe administrative punishment” for Guo, which means Guo will lose his job and be criminally prosecuted, the source said.

Guo is now in criminal detention.

The G20 Summit will be held in Hangzhou on September 4.
