Chinese donors to Trump probed for fraud in China

BowenPress Exclusive: On Feb. 19, GOP Presidential candidate Donald Trump held a town hall event in Pawley’s Island, SC at Pawley’s Plantation Golf & Country Club. This club is owned by Founders Group International(FGI), which is mainly owned by Chinese investor Dan Liu and New York resident Nick Dou. Dou is also the president of Founders Group.

On April 8 and 9, Chinese authorities closed FGI’s offices in different cities in China. Mr. Liu and his company are being probed for financial fraud estimated at 10 billion RMB. Sources told Bowen Press that at least $300 million was moved to the USA to purchase golf courses and other real estate.

Mr. Liu may be affiliated with Li Yuanchao, the vice president of the People’s Republic of China.

Mr. Liu could not be reached for comments.
