Woman killed by seven stab wounds still classified by police as “suicide”

(BOXUN) A 24-year-old Fuyang County, Shandong Province woman was found dead in early July of this year in a rented Gaomi City apartment. Her body had seven stab wounds, including five fatal stab wounds on her neck. After the autopsy, the local police classified the death as a “suicide.” Yesterday, a reporter was told by the Gaomi Municipal Public Security Bureau that the Shandong Provincial Public Security Office had become involved in the investigation, and after a secondary examination confirmed the verdict of “suicide” and refused to reopen the case.

On Thursday August 20, 2015, the Gaomi Municipal Public Security Bureau issued a “Decision on Reconsideration of the Crime.” The decision stated that, upon reexamination, the original decision not to take up the case was based on clear facts, sufficient evidence and accurate legal procedures. Therefore it decided to uphold the original decision.

How can one stab oneself in the neck five times? “The Public Security Bureau said that she placed the knife on a table, stretched her neck along the knife blade, and sliced herself on it until she was dead.”
