China’s Propaganda Ministry Commands to “Strictly Censor News on the Upcoming MilitaryParade.”

2. All websites’ news and portal commentaries, videos, photos etc. relating to the military parade, military affairs, and history must be positive, proactive, and not distort the Communist Party’s or nation’s history, not inculcate wrong opinions, and not create harmful news.
3. All websites must place positive posts in prominent positions.
4. All websites must impose strict inspection management, and can’t have no one on duty. At 10 a.m. on Sunday August 23, 2015, Beijing please notify Baidu, Sina, Sohu, Netease, Phoenix, Caijing Network, Caixin Network. Guangdong notify Tencent and ZAKER, Shanghai notify Pengbai, there must be a registration list for who is inspecting news and comments every day, who is the responsible person and include article inspection codes.
5. If the above requirements are violated or enforcement inadequate, there will be severe consequences and punishments.
