Man beats 3-year-old child in surveillance video

Surveillance video shows that at 8:43 p.m. on Monday May 4, 2015, on Center Street, Luochuan County, Yan’an City, a boy was sweeping the side of the street when a man suddenly kicked him to the ground, and continued to kick and trample him.

AAccording to earlier news the Luochuan County Public Security Bureau said that at present the injured child surnamed Li has been transferred to the Xi’an Children’s Hospital and is receiving treatment. The preliminary diagnosis is a fractured skull and multiple soft tissue injuries. He’s in stable condition, his life is not in danger, and the perpetrator Wang Jiaolong has already been criminally detained by Luochuan County police.

Police said the man named Wang Jiaolong (born 20 August 1986), has a junior high school education and is suffering from schizophrenia.

The video shows that while he was beating the child people passed by but did not intervene.
