[Bowen Exclusive News]–In early 2012, after the fall of Bo Xilai, Boxun began exposing the connection between Zhou Yongkang, Ling Jihua and Bo Xilai. In mid-April 2012, Boxun’s server and domain name registration site (or registrar name.com) received massive web attacks. Name.com also received threatening letters in English, demanding that Boxun.com be stopped immediately. Boxun.com and Name.com reached an understanding and within hours transferred the domain name server to another company. This company faced the same threats, so it unilaterally shut down the service for Boxun’s domain name. Within two days Boxun’s domain name server was back in operation with a third company. Western mainstream media reported extensively on this news, perhaps because of the pressure of public opinion the attacks stopped.

The April 2012 attacks were different from other attacks. This time the target was the American infrastructure (domain name servers function as “post offices,” this kind of attack paralyzed millions of domain names on the targeted servers). Also during and after the attack came the clearly threatening letters, a clear-cut case of net terrorism.

According to an American detective agency’s report, from April-May, 2012, and in January 2015, this agency was hired to discover Boxun founder Wei Shi (Watson Meng)’s home address, and renewed an attack against Boxun, including attempting to damage the server in 2012. It’s believed that the detective agency succeeded in entering Watson Meng’s home and stealing the data on a computer.

Bowen learned from knowledgeable sources in USA that in the summer of 2012 some planned to hire professional killers to assassinate Meng (and also possibly Mingjing Net founder He Pin). Because at this time Boxun exposed large amounts of information on the connection between Ling Jihua, Zhou Yongkang and Bo Xilai. On June 3, 2012 Boxun was the first to report on the shady background of Ling Jihua’s son’s death in a Ferrarri. Analysts believe it was either Ling Jihua or Zhou Yongkang who ordered the killings. Because Zhou Yongkang was already under investigation, it’s more likely it was Ling Jihua.

In Boxun’s Sunday April 5, 2015 interview of Zhengquan Securities’ Guo Wengui, Guo Wengui said: “Wei Shi has sacrificed his life for honor.” Perhaps Guo Wengui knows of some secret matters.

Bowen News has further learned that the mastermind of the threats to the life of Wei Shi and others is detained Vice Minister of State Security Ma Jian. Under Ma Jian’s planning and command, security officials successfully infiltrated Falungong’s core members, Tibetan exile groups and Xinjiang independence organizations.
