Rights activist Yin Xu’an arrested for the crime of “leaking state secrets”

During the recent Two Parliamentary Sessions in Beijing (National People’s Congress and Chinese People’s Political Consultative Committee), at 5:23 p.m. on Sunday March 8, 2015, Yin Xu’an was abducted by dozens of Dayan City, Hubei Province police near Baoguo Temple in southeastern Beijing and forcibly repatriated to Dayan and held in security detention for 15 days. On Wednesday March 25, 2015 Yin Xu’an was formally criminally arrested. On Thursday March 26, 2015 Yin Xu’an’s younger sister received the arrest notice, it’s on suspicion of the crime of “leaking state secrets.”

What state secrets did Yin Xu’an leak? In a social media post Yin Xu’an did transmit a “Namelist of Stability Maintenance Personnel from Dayan City, Hubei Province stationed in Beijing.”
