Laptop stolen from Boxun precedes hack attack

A laptop belonging to a senior editor of Boxun was stolen during a meeting in New York. It was taken from a desk in an adjacent office. Boxun is offering a reward for its return. This might have been a theft targeting Boxun, not just the opportunistic grab of an untended laptop. Boxun’s website experienced a severe, prolonged attack after the theft.
