Shanghai netizen Li Xuezheng is arrested for distributing t-shirts supporting Zhao Fengsheng

Boxun has learned that at 4 p.m. on September 13, 2014, Shanghai netizen Li Xuezheng went to Shanghai’s People’s Square and distributed t-shirts supporting Zhao Fengsheng. He was for this reason criminally detained. He’s being held in Shanghai’s Pudong New Area detention center. Li Xuezheng’s girlfriend said that last Saturday he was detained in People’s Square while going into the subway. Netizen Xiucaijianghu said that Li Xuezheng had already been charged with a crime and been visited by his lawyer.

Li Xuezheng is a rights defense activist in Shanghai. Online, offline, he supports all activities contributing to freedom and democracy. On April 27, 2014 Li Xuezheng and renowned Hunan province democracy veteran Ouyang Jinghua had a banquet together in Shanghai.
