Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region Police Seize Land, Arrest Four Villagers

The Cangjiao Village, Niujia Yingzi Township, Kalaqin Banner, Chifen City, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region government seized land and because villagers didn’t agree to the offered compensation they wouldn’t sign over rights to the land. On Monday September 15, 2014 approximately 200 police went to the village and violently suppressed the villagers, beating and arresting four, they are still in custody.
Two days after this, a field with a big shed and covered material was demolished.
